here are some cool facts i learned from your cool article... egyption art was used to praise the pharoah (disceased) and to assure they rest in peace. the egyptians respected the dead and their bodies so much that art and hieroglyphic told the story of each individual mummy. i dont think i would mind being mummified during this time, especially if i had a royal tomb, that would be sick. this artical also introduces egyptology, a special branch of the science of archeology. this is essentially studying antiques such as precious rocks. art, and inscriptions and discovering their meanings. i love that we are combining art, science, and history in a beautiful way.
