The statue of Laocoon and his Sons is one of the most famous sculptures from ancient times. Laocoon was a Trojan priest that was actually the priest of Apollo, who i researched in a previous blog. The story of Laocoon is very complex and interesting. He was killed by his two sons. The photographs of the statue that i found depict Laocoon being viciously killed by snakes and serpents. It was hard to find the reason why he was killed by his sons due to different theories but that leaves the story of Laocoon a mystery.
